I've Been Illustrated!
Just found a couple of illos from Anouk for Performance Reviews and Training Exercises.

Check out some of her other work, too. The artwork is so good, it makes me want to read a bunch of the stories (even ones based on the content I probably won't like).

Unfortunately, I didn't see any way to contact her and say thanks without creating a membership on the site. :(

Very cool!

Oh, lovely! Makes me want to go re-read the stories. And then watch the episodes. And then watch the season. And then watch the other seasons.

Also, HOLY CRAP!1! She illustrated me, too! There's a banner for Familiar Strangers in that second link, and it's so perfect. Oh em jee! I never would have known without your post.

Nice!

Just to let you know, I just added you after reading your 1969 stories. You nailed those so perfectly... it sorted out something that had been making my head ache.

Thank you! Time travel in the Stargate universe has that effect on a lot of people :). But I really enjoy figuring possible pasts and futures. Though when I started this, I didn't realize it was going to result in such wholesale slaughter. From a writer perspective it turned out to be the easiest way not to have to account for an SG-1 who were contemporaries of Hammond hanging around in our time. (You *know* they would have interfered. There is no way they could have just let things happen.)

Another commenter suggested that there could have been a whole bunch of time loops where SG-1 goes back, Hammond goes forward and sends them back, it turns out all wrong...repeating over and over until they hit a stable loop- where Hammond's actions don't change SG-1's actions in the past. Talk about brain-hurting- I prefer to think they got it right relatively quickly.

Glad you enjoyed!

Heh. You don't say. I"m working on my first fanfic in about TEN YEARS to deal with that whole Moebius mess. (I used to do X-files fanfic, way, way, way back when.)

I had the same problem with trying to review at Twisting the Hellmouth, but I discovered that if you click the author's name and then select the tab that says "profile," there's a link where you can e-mail the author (it's one of those "fill out the form to e-mail" pages). I can't see the pictures you're talking about right now, but I'm hoping it's just a problem with the TtH site - sometimes happens.

On another note, I'm lousy at feedback, so I'd also like to take the time to tell you how much I enjoy your fics. You're one of the couple of authors whose stories I just tend to interpret as canon since you capture the characters so well :) "Rearranging Fate" is one of my favorites, because I'll never quite forgive them for killing off Kowalski quite so soon! (I love his and Jack's joke with Daniel about how they can't mention toddling off after the Goa'uld with their canes because the canes aren't standard issue.)

Thanks for the tip! I've finally been able to send feedback.

And thank you for your feedback- Fate was terrific fun to write, I'm always delighted to hear that other people found it fun too.

Have you been following the Stargate Second Lives community on [info]phoenix_gate? They're busily resurrecting characters that were not done right by in canon. An excellent idea! *g* An awful lot of my stories started out with me wanting to *fix* great gaping rents in canon, or at least explain them in some coherent fashion.
